My Journey
From The Beginning
01
How it Started
Growing up I never considered wearing makeup. As a teenager I wore a lipgloss I got out of a cracker one Christmas but that was about it until I caught Chicken Pox at the age of 29. This left my face scarred and I had to return work. I used a Mary Kay sample to cover my scars temporarily. Once my skin recovered I realised I loved how makeup made me look, this feeling was confirmed when I took my first visit to the Mac Cosmetics store on Cherry St Birmingham. I wanted everything and that was the start of my love for makeup.
03
Bridal & Destination Weddings
I started specialising in Black Bridal. Providing this service was very rewarding as I loved seeing the transformation of my brides and the joy on their faces. I still remember receiving a call being asked if I would consider a destination wedding. It was amazing.
02
Makeover Studios
I took a chance and applied for a MUA job at a Salon working for the Celebrity Stylist Adee Phelan in Birmingham . I must admit I was not confident and did not see that anyone would take me seriously as I was not a trained MUA but I applied anyway and to my surprise got the job. With the new network of friends there it was not long before I was working at multiple studios in Birmingham, Manchester and London. I got to style hair and makeup for the TOWIE cast Danielle Armstrong & James Lock and Big Brother Winner Sam Evans.

New Journey
More than being a Makeup Artist I know that I am a creative. I am starting again and I am open for every opportunity. I have worked with some amazing people and continue to look forward for this new chapter.
